s someone suffering from dry skin, I would like to tell you about the importance of moisturizing and what needs to be done. Your skin is a very important organ that covers the entire body. Moisturizing your skin is important not only to look beautiful, but also to keep your skin healthy. A skin with a proper moisture balance protects you from skin disorders such as many skin diseases, cracks, and infections. Regular skin cleansing and moisturizing are critical to healthy looking skin, regardless of age or gender.
The first and most important step in moisturizing is to maintain a moisture balance. For this, you should aim for a total water intake of 2.5 litres per day. If I need to talk about my own moisturizing routine, I should write this first: I try to consume lots of water to keep my skin hydrated. I use my moisturizing products after cleansing the skin twice a day. Of course, I apply the same cleansing and moisturizing routine on days when I don’t wear makeup to get rid of skin pollution caused by external factors. Since I have very dry skin, I make sure that my cleanser is suitable for dry skin type that will not dry and wear my skin. I also use a serum containing hyaluronic acid before moisturizing cream both to increase the effect of the moisturizer and to strengthen my skin barrier. Then I apply my moisturizing cream on it. Then, I do not forget to use my eye moisturizer, which I see neglected as it is thought not to be needed especially in your 20s. Contrary to popular belief, we can minimize the wrinkles we will encounter in later years by taking precautions with moisturizing at an early age. Finally, after applying my lip balm to keep my lips moisturized, I complete my routine. Of course, I do not neglect to use hand and body creams regularly!
Lastly, I want to add this: Especially since sun rays dry the skin and cause wrinkles in the long term, using sunscreen creams in summer and winter also helps to maintain the moisture balance by protecting the skin from the harmful effects of the sun.
